Day 3 (Wednesday)

Day 3 - Song of Zechariah: 

Despite his old age, Zechariah has had a son.  He was filled with the Holy Spirit to praise God and prophesize about his son, John the Baptist.  Zechariah’s Song praises about God’s redemption and His mercy, holy and righteousness.  To reveal His plan for salvation, God has chosen John to be the forerunner of Jesus, to shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death.

Reflection:

耶穌是從神而來的真光。當他走進你的生命時，黑暗就會消失。你今天需要祂怎樣照亮你的生命？

Jesus is the true light from God.  When He comes into your life, the shadows flee away.  How do you need Him to light up your life today?

Pray: 

Dear Lord, You are Life, and without You is death.  Help us to turn to You today and live. May we never lose hope in the promise of peace that begins with us.  May the tender mercy of Your love break into this world and turn us upside down.  In Jesus’ name. Amen.
