Leadership

Senior & Cantonese LEad Pastor

Rev. Maurice Yu

Maurice was born and raised in Hong Kong. While serving in CBMC and working as an engineer, he was called to ministry. He earned his MDiv from Talbot Seminary and now oversees our growing church. One of his favorite bible verses is, “As the Philistine moved closer to attack him, David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet him” (1 Sam. 17:48), as it teaches him to have bold faith and that any threat can be God’s opportunity in disguise. Maurice, Meipo, and his two daughters are eternally grateful for the life and ministry God has given them.

Jimmy’s daily prayer comes from Mark 9:24b, “I believe; help my unbelief!”
